OUTLINE
Empire Cinemas are a leading independent cinema chain operating around the UK.
Empire Cinemas had been successful for a number of years with a property portfolio based around their original acquisition, The Empire Leicester Square. As part of a general process of updating their interiors with new concepts in Walthamstow in 2015, they needed to create a corporate brochure to reflect their heritage and the ever-changing cinema sector in which they wanted to become known as an innovator to investors.
THE BRIEF
I was asked to create a series of new content pieces for their website and for use on their social channels and the content for a new corporate identity brochure.
The initial task was to take apart the original copy as it contained a number of interesting facts both about their business and cinema in general.
WHAT WAS DELIVERED
I created the new content based around the heritage of the business and cinema bringing to life in a timeline everything that had happened to them. I used the legacy of the Leicester Square cinema to anchor the narrative.
5 pages of content were delivered along with the content for a new printed brochure to showcase the business at a time of growth and possible acquisition. The brochure content supported new digital copy.
The use of hashtags in social posts was suggested to create a broader approach to the level of content already pimped out on their social channels. This was really just a review of current practices and making some suggestions to drive traffic and engagement.
